Job Description

  • Supervise and oversee the sales growth of the Equipment Supplies department relating to the relevant products
  • Provide training and presentation relating to new products with all relevant associates.
  • Establish and manage marketing plans and strategies with relevant customers and aligning strategy and execution thereof
  • Correlate propositions and presentations to customers with relevant Management
  • Update reports (global and local) which includes the market share database and market intelligence
  • Make sure all technical and operational issues are resolved as part of the continuous integration process
  • Customer relations management and using / updating relevant system thereof
  • Ensure customer relationships are maintained
  • Manage the departments in-house processes and make recommendations
  • Revise and submit regular budgets/forecasts of required sales and parts
  • Attend internal and external meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Technical Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years Mining experience within an operating environment and with related products used in the mine (specifically underground soft rock)
  • Prefer 5 years Marketing and customer relations experience
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Continuous miner cutting technology will be an added benefit
  • Must be flexible to travel extensively
